Goodwill Industries of Central Florida (GICF) recently hosted its annual Leadership Conference at the Daytona Hilton Oceanfront Resort. Over the course of two inspiring days, store leaders, senior team members, and our Board of Directors came together to strengthen their skills, celebrate achievements, and prepare for the future.

Day 1 Highlights
The conference opened with Gold of the Desert Kings™, an interactive simulation facilitated by Eagle’s Flight. Participants worked in teams to plan strategies, manage resources, and complete a simulated expedition, all while honing their decision-making and collaboration skills.

The evening concluded with an awards ceremony honoring team members who exemplify our mission of Building Lives That Work® and demonstrate excellence in their roles:

Day 2 Highlights
Day two focused on hands-on learning through sessions led by GICF leadership. These sessions covered essential topics, including:

  • GICF Strategic Plan and 2025 Goals
  • Making Data-Based Decisions
  • Merchandising: Taking Pride in How Product is Displayed
  • Writing Great Schedules

The Leadership Conference was a powerful opportunity to reflect on our mission, celebrate successes, and set a clear path for the new year ahead.
